Cheesefarm Schrama

At the beginning of 2022 cheesefarm Schrama tested a HY-Board with young cheeses.
It was a positive test experience.

For the young cheeses, Stafier was then allowed to supply the shelves (4000 mm). These were made to measure so they fit exactly in the current set-up.

These are the main advantages that the cheesemaker is experiencing now:

  • Easier cleaning;
  • The perforation provides a better airflow around the cheese. Because of this the cheese is less moist (bottom side) and ripens more evenly.
