Stafier welcomes ECTS members in Zevenaar

27 Feb 2023

In 2022, our managing director Stefan de Pooter joined the board of the European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS) on behalf of Stafier. We had been a member of this working group for some time, but since last year Stafier has also joined the board. Twice a year, all members of the ECTS meet to discuss the future of the ceramics industry. In April it will be Stafier’s turn to welcome the members to Zevenaar. Read more about it.

Stafier takes its role within the ceramic market seriously. Our managing director therefore sees joining the ECTS board as a great opportunity to provide even more support to the ceramic market.

The future of the ceramic industry

In addition to meetings with the board members only, all ECTS members meet physically twice a year. For the next meeting, soon there’s a trip to the Liemers region planned. “In April 2023, the complete working group will come to Zevenaar, where we will welcome them to Stafier,” explains Stefan.

“During such a meeting, we focus on the future of the ceramic industry. For example, we will talk about tapping into new markets, but also about the challenges within the ceramic sector and possible solutions.”

A look inside at Stafier

In addition to the substantive aspect, the ECTS members also take a look behind the scenes during such a trip. “It’s great to learn from each other in this way. And of course to continue improving our service and support for our customers and to strengthen the industry!”, says Stefan. The ECTS meeting will take place on 20-21 April 2023.

From 2022 – 2025, the ECTS board consists of the following companies: Sabo, VHV Anlagenbau, Talleres Felipe Verdés and Stafier. After three years, other suppliers in the ceramics industry will take over.
